The question is, apart from this immediate fix, how about simply skipping the empty arg, instead of this weird behaviour? I'd expect it still to write to `/boot/initramfs-6.12.0-122.el10.x86_64.img`.

Fedora actually carries new openssl module which takes care of all this. Unfortunately this module also bundles some openssl code (listing configs etc.), the plan is to get it upstream...

Looking at the linked issue, that's exactly what I'm experiencing, but wouldn't expect -- shouldn't the pipeline be pending/starting before you have a link to the progress?
