Believe this is an issue with Proton and the current nightly build. I'll need to download Linux or get a Steam Deck which is a barrier to me solving this.
Pretty much fixed over the course of several commits. Last few ones have included support for Scaleform as well. Games like Bloodstained are outliers that will require a different fix....
