@bilbofroggins : Thanks for writing that! A good GUI tool is desperately needed as even the new 'GUI' included in Karabiner for writing complex modifications is not really a GUI....

I actually prefer the current behavior (pinned tabs are available for all groups), so hope if it is implemented, it's off by default.
