I would think this is excessive.
Simliar to the cAMP situation, as well as JAK dimerization and MAPK localization - all those represent measure points of certain processes. I don't mean to say that they shouldn't...
Sure. Please also check GO:0046498 S-adenosylhomocysteine metabolic process , it has no reason to be more valid than its child. There doesn't seem to be a biosynthetic process term.
Yes, sounds good. It looks like the correct process is one of: 'S-methylmethionine cycle' 'S-adenosylmethionine cycle' See Fig 1 in https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2838417/
Do we know anyone who knows these processes?
Is this a question for @bmeldal ?
The definition was updated here: https://github.com/geneontology/go-ontology/issues/20244 There is no link to any MF or BP anymore - should there be? Please reopen if you want to link to a BP...
At some point we had said that 'targeting', at least as in 'targeting signal', was a passive process. @raymond91125 are you OK to tackled these?
> nucleocytoplasmic transport would seem more appropriate for GO:0034504 Is it clear to you that this is cytoplasmic-> nuclear? This is why I kept 'protein localization to nucleus' instead, to...
Ah ok - so targeting as a BP should go then. - makes sense to me. In particular for 'targeting', some older annotations are wrong, and were made to the...
