This was unrelated to QXmpp, there is no worker thread here, that's Kaidan implementation details. So this was fixed with https://invent.kde.org/network/kaidan/-/merge_requests/1192.

hm, not really I really want to manually manage bookmarks in a folder like view. But automatic grouping by countries/regions/departments can be a good start.
