[FEAT]: FCast on Kodi/LibreElec
Hi there!
I'd like to know whether an official Kodi/LibreElec plugin is possible. I think that it could boost its adoption as many people use Kodi/LibreElec with their TVs so that they don't have to bother with desktop UIs and it's possible to just use the TV remote. It would also help to bridge the gap until more broad support amongst the TV manufacturers is achieved.
So far I've found one plugin that seems promising. I'll test it tomorrow.
I'm happy to see FCast being developed as it's probably the closest FOSS has been to having a proper option to cast video between devices.
I tested it yesterday and it has issues. It tries to start the player which results in what looks like a soft lock of Kodi. I was once able to see the player start (I saw a frame on the screen being rendered), but it didn't play.
I'll try to look into these issues but sadly it's not in a works well enough state RN.

I experienced this same behavior with the existing FCast Kodi plugin. Having a working one would be a game-changer for me.
