A general question: right now the flags are called `--to-folder` and `--from-folder` but the folder is specified with `--directory` (like in restore and backup). Should we maybe change the names...

I also included #7017 to keep the build working. With it `make diagrams` doesn't produce a diff.

@ykakarap I updated the pr description to reflect the changes as you mentioned. Anything you would like to add?

The reason was a merge conflict when cherry-picking #7046. I also added #7017 to ensure that if you run make diagrams and get the new diagrams.
