Which themes are you trying to apply? It's possible that the ones you applied aren't compatible with 22H2
I'm not sure how the icons are handled but you can use a utility like 7TSP or CustomizerGod to change system tray icons.
@adamek0202 there is a tutorial going over how to use CustomizerGod with later versions here https://imgur.com/a/nB1OlFk but I can't verify that it works as I haven't tested it out.
This also happens on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise with the latest release but is not an issue on Windows 7
