@jeremyasapp we validated this is not the case with our current ruamel.yaml usage in v0.5, yes?

Note: pickle (via `torch.save`) will be the standard in v0.5; it is very difficult to implement in 0.4 so it will not be implemented there

@jeremyasapp I propose we have some kind of test run functionality that initializes all objects but doesn't run them, as that will cover this feature request in a general way...

This is being addressed by v0.5 (`refactor` branch) integrations with other training libraries right @jeremyasapp ?
