Is there any news on this? There is also a stream API in the browsers now: https://streams.spec.whatwg.org Don't know if that would help, though.

Is there any news for this? Since gh-pages can now be built with gh-actions, using whitelisted plugins isn't _that_ important anymore IMHO.
