That would undoubtedly add some complexity to the nesting calculation, but indeed with certain part shapes that could allow better nesting. I like the idea of this possibility.

@napter Yes, Epilog has the ability to choose presets based on color. Keeping original colors (as set in design software) could certainly be useful to those users.
I'm guessing that at this point, those that were bothered by this or wanted this have rolled our own. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing something official in the future...
