It has been a while since I looked at this code. I will see if base paths have ever been included in asset paths.
No, there isn't right now. Without knowing the targets and the dependencies AssetCompress can't do tasks like automatic cache invalidation, build target validation and recursive builds.

@chyt It should be available if you have a version of mini-asset that includes those changes.
The packagist package appears to be [leafo/lessphp](https://packagist.org/packages/leafo/lessphp) though. edit: stupid tiny keyboard.
I'm not sure what's going on. Do you have 3 different cakephp apps in a single project all using different versions of CakePHP?
Not sure then. I've not come across an application structure like that before.
