I can confirm that this works around the issue. Perhaps it should be the default?

@rg3igalia: Seems the `GLES_ALLOW_DIRECT_LINK`-flag is not included in the latest GLCTS release. I guess this only went to the `main`-branch, and not to branches such as `opengl-cts-4.6.3`... ?

Sounds like you're trying to use the wrong Mesa branch. We don't have a grate driver upstream, only our own fork. And that driver isn't useful for much more than...

We still don't have a Mesa driver capable of more than running glxgears, which isn't upstream in mesa, so you'd need to build our Mesa fork if you want accelerated...

This doesn't sound related to mesa at all, as that is a user space driver.

I'm not convinced this is an actual issue, but I filed this to make sure I don't forget ;)
