TrackState is updated in NewRaDec in [INDI::Telescope](https://github.com/indilib/indi/blob/83539e65f16227c05522b627ded90a658a045d5f/libs/indibase/inditelescope.cpp#L689) so that's Ok. Regarding scheduler, that's a different topic, but I don't see where TrackStateSP is used? can you point it out?
You can park and watch the log for the state changes. Just INDI, not related to Ekos.
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this crash. Can you test git master or the nightly PPA?

Is it possible to catch the RJ11 output outside of the Nexdome firmware? i.e. by establishing a connection to RJ11 directly somehow. So right now the design is the dome...
