Known issue with eventmachine - mainly that you can only register one callback for any given watch. Adding a way to register multiple callbacks per watch should be easy enough...

Just an FYi, I'm still aware of this issue and will fix it soon.

I use 'filewatch' now instead of eventmachine-tail. I'll take patches, but don't have any immediate plans to improve this library further myself.

I recommend using filewatch instead of this library (jordansissel/ruby-filewatch). It doesn't use inotify due to its weird 'feature' behaviors and bugs in older linux kernels. It also works outside EM.

Thanks for filing :) I'll work on a test case that reproduces it (I can reproduce it by hand) and get a fix committed, soon.
