Is this resolved with beta 4+ ?
the current appimage appears to work fine on my fedora install. Is there any extra output if you run it in the console? system crash log? 
I wonder if you edit ~/.config/WowUp/preferences.json and set use_hardware_acceleration to "false"

Have not been able to reproduce this issue on any flavor of linux. Is there any error logged in the log files ~/.config/WowUpCf/logs
Can you try re-enabling hardware acceleration and deleting the `~/.config/WowUpCf/GPUCache` folder?

I will run this by the Overwolf team who creates the electron build that powers this CF version of the app.
