OK, so `timestamps` is actually a list of lists. I guess that makes sense. OTOH the docs are wrong in that case: `positions should be a 1D or 2D array-like...

My point is that it’s not a 2-d array.

I don't think there is any question the visualization itself is useful; the question is about how the data is organized in real life, and whether it justifies a different...

This is part of a "project", but I agree this API problem is pretty urgent! I would *guess* most folks would prefer degrees, but?
