HI @anshuman-agarwala are you planning to take a stab on that issue anytime soon?
You may need to add some validation as well. Not sure if external DNS supports HA mode werry well. Having 2+ replicas may throttle DNS API as at the moment...
The problem is described here a bit https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/external-dns/issues/2430. Had a DNS outage once due to this behaviour.
Share manifests and all arguments (not helm) so we could reproduce
