`@shuffle` looks good to me! Overall the improvements are very obvious in Debug mode benchmarks.
Debug perf is important and we should consider changes to improve it carefully.
Hi, can you give more information about your system? Windows version, GPU, driver version, etc. Also, are you able to run the `minimal_zgui_glfw_gl` sample app successfully?
I can confirm this branch is building locally for me on an Intel Mac running macOS 13.5 and on an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14.5. I wonder what's different...
Other than macOS... Linux is working for me locally. For windows, I have pushed some more fixes, but `monolith` and `physics_test_wgpu` produce linker errors; note these are the only two...

CI now cross compiles linux->windows as of https://github.com/zig-gamedev/zig-gamedev/commit/87740aae224164cf85b5e0b72b76968696697f05. Other cross-compile pairs should also be checked.
