We already have an expert option to turn off quota limits completely. Maybe for d2d backups we'd need this to force-on anyway since d2d probably assumes unlimited quota anyway.
can this be closed then? in favor of #582 ?
Thanks for the report with a stacktrace. This may be related to #556 and/or #557. Can you try re-selecting the USB drive in "Backup location"? If that produces the same...
When you say with icons, do you mean show/count all system apps with *launcher* icons?
Any idea how to identify those? Do we need to query all intent activities and then cache the list of packages with a launcher activity or given we have `PackageInfo`...
Signatures changing is a valid and expected use-case in `ApkBackup#backupApkIfNecessary()`, so we need to adjust the expectation in `MetadataManager`.
This won't work through the normal backup mechanism as an app gets killed during backup/restore. We would need to build something custom into our backup metadata.
