In another manual backup run, it set the status of the apps correctly, so this bug is not always happening.
Should have been fixed by #628
What is "user-trusted source" about? Is this a Graphene specific thing? How does "Seedvault refuses to install" look in practice? Can you post screenshots/photos?
maybe graphene OS is blocking installation somehow.
Is this still an issue on Graphene?

Can you run `adb shell bmgr backup eu.siacs.conversations` and grab logcat and shell output from that? Then wait a bit and do the same for: `adb shell bmgr backupnow --monitor-verbose...
That's strange. So after this, did it continue to backup conversations on its own? Or is it still stuck?
But other apps get backed up fine? Looks like the only things getting backed up are: * `/data/data/eu.siacs.conversations/databases/history` * `/data/data/eu.siacs.conversations/shared_prefs/eu.siacs.conversations_preferences.xml` Could it be that these simply don't change? Maybe try...
