Reported by e-mail. Fewer files seem to work, more memory doesn't help. Sounds like it could be thread-related?
Sequence Matrix does not run on windows 10.. I don't know if it's a general problem?

Probably the easiest fix for this would be to have a (speciesname:species name) format, in which anything in that format is recognized as the species with a common genus name...
I think this happens when you select a numerical column.
