SDL2 has native binary for aarch64 m1 chip via homebrew so just should not be an issue still. But plenty of places assume intel/x86* on mac.

SDL2 is always going to be used in this project. It's integrated on all platforms.

Open assets are unlikely at this point. There's no interest in anyone putting that much work in.

Snaps aren't likely long for this world even if they seem to be popular for the moment.

Pretty sure we made the NumLock to behave like the vanilla game in terms of how the key works though compared to say ioquake3 behavior.

Nothing has changed in recent builds that would affect that. Are you sure that you didn't upgrade from really old build? Or the opengl drivers for your graphics are not...

Disable Qeffects first. Cannot guarantee compatibility with a third party wrapper.
