v12 uSync Complete - background processing doesn't work

Items appear as "new" in the audit log and go no further. Also, there's no ability to set a "scheduled" published date as in the blog/docs. No errors as such...

FEATURE REQUEST - in 4.0.0 pre 2.2 process all validated content and pass over errors (with report in filesystem)

Would it be possible for content to be processed in such a way that everything that passes validation is output to the destination folder anyway (rather than not at all)...
