v12 uSync Complete - background processing doesn't work

Open drummerboy46 opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Items appear as "new" in the audit log and go no further.

Also, there's no ability to set a "scheduled" published date as in the blog/docs.

No errors as such appear in the umbraco logs.

Hi,

We'll take a look, there should in theory be at least one log entry when it starts :(

do you see anything in the dialog when you start the pull/push because if you do it not scheduled it will show you the progress of the background job as it happens in the UI. if it goes wrong, it may to show you here?

The scheduling won't appear until Schedule publish is ticked in the back office (that turns on the option when pushing/pulling. and you don't get the option to schedule a pull. (as it you can pull content now, if you want to schedule content it has to be pushed (as the scheduled event happens on the sender).

Hey Kevin

Thats a quick response, thanks!

I just get the you can close this window message and it appears in the audit log, but nothing happens. If I click on the entry in the audit log, and press "process" I get the green notification to say processing and still nothing happens.

I've just upgraded the project to Umbraco 12.3.5 and latest versions of uSync/uSync complete. Running on app service.

Here's a few s/s

thanks for them,. I think i will have to setup a test azure site or two and see if i can recreate this. :(

guessing for now you will have to switch back to the realtime publisher ?

No worries Kevin, i've switched back to the realtime publisher until resolved.
