Weird thing is, when adding a `mat-chip-list`, [it works correctly](https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-ntb3rr-7b1hrb?file=app%2Fchips-stacked-example.html) for *all* mat-chips.
@Braed @thomaspark I think @accessiblewebuk is referring to the contrast of the text of the other CSS items.  It *is* failing the contrast ratio...
As stated in the [Material Guidelines](https://material.io/guidelines/components/text-fields.html#text-fields-layout): > An error message should appear on a single line, if possible. So it should be as short as possible.
They are positioned absolute, so I don't think it will know where the next input field is.
Not sure how this would work in Ionic, I don't see some a11y documentation on [ionic-menu ](https://ionicframework.com/docs/api/menu). Is there a way to manually focus the sidebar when you know it...
@peterpeterparker Cool, thanks for pushing it further. I subscribed to the issue. Strange this is not available already in Ionic. In Angular Material you [can check it pretty easily](https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-xqu6vg?file=src/app/sidenav-open-close-example.html).
Any update on this PR? It would be really helpful when this functionality lands in HTMLHint.
