VerbalTea made [an addon](https://github.com/VerbalTea/instantmesher) that allows this program to work nicely with blender.
I am also having this error with the "attention" admonition.
I have been away for a while. Were you able to get this working? This has not been an issue for me in Blender 2.83.
I have updated this fix to include stopping animated GIFs from playing until the parent slide is active. This required use of the  library. There are a couple gotchas...
There's a little triangle on the left of where it says "VSE_Transform_Tools". Did you click that? Does the UI appear?
