How do I reproduce this? I tried to break `database.xml` but the program just redownloads it again

I would suggest to use a common way and put the configs to user home directory - like `~/.quakeinjector` for unix systems (similar thing exists for windows)

One suggestion - if the engine configurations dialog could support multiple configurations, it should be possible to select which one to use to play with a split button  (sorry...
