Can't repo in windows 10. It doesn't happen with aero enabled either. It uses sndplaysound and there have been other os version specific crashes, https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/issues/642, so a trace is needed.

Oops, I totally misunderstood your problem. I read it as another installshield problem. Try right clicking on the installw.inf file and choose install.
That error comes from the 32bit part of the installer. There isn't anything winevdm can do about it.
