Uncheck in Chrome: Use hardware acceleration when available. This fixes it for glx too.

People use exactly compton + glx for tear-free compositing on XFCE or LXDE. It makes no sense to switch it off.

Again a bug in chrome I guess. If not fixed in chrome soon, I'll add a workaround.

Hello this looks for me at the moment like a bug in chrome. Can you please post the chrome version where this happens.

I tested Version 45.0.2454.93 m on Windows and all works fine. Seems to be a bug in one or more Chrome versions. Please update your Chrome.

As I thought, it was a bug in the chromium code.
