Cannot change password file

As soon as I change the file CHANGE_PASSWORD_HERE.js, the extension is broken and removed from my extension list so I cannot run the extension anymore. I just want to add this line to my config, but I'm not able to const BLOCKING_MODE = "WHITELIST_ALLOW_TOP_LEVEL";

I'm using Chrome Version 46.0.2490.86 m

Hmm, strange. Check it out, when I find time. Btw there is no reason to change it in my opinion.

Still not working, keeps resetting it back to the default password.
