> Presently the SM model is written in such a way that receives as input voltage and determines current. With a physical interface it should be in principle possible have...

> Not always: it depends on how you write the code. For instance, the IEEE control blocks in PowerGrids are written in a casual way. We never write anything in...

At the end of the discussion, I would propose that we implement what was proposed [here](https://github.com/PowerGrids/PowerGrids/issues/55#issuecomment-1574973300), i.e.: - introduce an enumeration value explicitly mentioning IEEE 421.5 - introduce a p.u....

Hints for checking: - the place where the decoupling takes place is OnePortAC - maybe the localInit parameter is not set correctly and leads to wrong boundary conditions towards the...

@ceraolo I tested it with OMC, and it also complains about initialization issues: ``` The initialization problem is inconsistent due to the following equation: 0 != 1 = 1.0 -...

We could generate such results with OpenModelica, upload them on a public GIT repository (and also use them for [regression testing in OpenModelica](https://libraries.openmodelica.org/branches/master/PowerGrids/PowerGrids.html)). We'll consider doing that in the future....

This issue reminds me a lecture of my electrical engineering professor, who said that three-phase AC with phasors was just as one-phase, with some sqrt(3) terms here and there 😅....

> It is my guilt. Had I read the _naming conventions_ I probably would not have opened this ticket! So, your new formulation is better, but also the old one...

So it seems that the fundamental issue is to name "Bus" something that can actually generate power. However, it seems that the concept of "Infinite Bus" meaning an ideal voltage/frequency...
