If it helps, I have another Sofle variant (Choc switches) that uses SK6812-MINI-E here: https://github.com/josefadamcik/SofleKeyboard/issues/40 They are pretty easy to solder though I haven't tried the non-MINI-E.
No. The Sofle RGB is closer: same outline but mounting holes are in different locations due to routing needs. It wouldn't be hard to create one. Clone the top plate...
Yeah should be able to. One way to check your work is export to SVG and make sure sure the outlines and mounting holes line up.
In case it helps, I've assembled a board with SK6812 MINI-E here: https://github.com/josefadamcik/SofleKeyboard/issues/40. I didn't have any trouble soldering with the cutout size used.
