Full transparency that I will not be able to work this issue. I only have an M1 air so need to rely on a community member to help on this...
Oh sorry, the color is covered in that other issue. This is for the size only? Did you read through the intended behavior of how the size is saved?
The size part is unique to this issue . I asked for a new issue because I wasn't able to replicate the size issue.
Thanks, Can you try the build from this PR: https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/pull/4381 Direct link to appimage: https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/actions/runs/19248709133/artifacts/4525578165 It worked for me locally.
The snap version has issues I can't solve so I'd like to remove it from the snap store, but can't find how. I recommend using the flatpak.
I cannot properly interface with the gnome permissions system to allow screenshots on newer gnome + wayland setups. With flatpak one can manually set permissions.
If the launcher is used to set a delayed screenshot it works okay. I suspect this means that while the tray menu is activated the hotkey is not being intercepted...
How did you install ?
@Cboughton Maybe you could use inotify to see when the config file changes, and what process is changing it?
Does it say which process opened and modified it? If not is there a way to enable that? Edit: and were you actively using flameshot at the time?
