Outdated version on the Snap Store stable channel.
The version of Flameshot available on the stable channel is absurdly outdated, and the snap content required for this version cannot even be found, which prevents its installation and consequently makes it seem like the Snap Store is buggy.
This is what appears when trying to install Flameshot from the stable channel:
error: cannot perform the following tasks:
- Ensure prerequisites for "flameshot" are available (cannot install prerequisite "kde-frameworks-5-91-qt-5-15-3-core20": no snap revision available as specified)
The snap version has issues I can't solve so I'd like to remove it from the snap store, but can't find how.
I recommend using the flatpak.
What kind of problem has occurred recently?
I cannot properly interface with the gnome permissions system to allow screenshots on newer gnome + wayland setups. With flatpak one can manually set permissions.

I tried to find an explanation for this, but I really couldn't, and it's a very strange situation, since I tested Flameshot Snap on KDE, Budgie/Labwc and even Cosmic, and it worked on all of them except Gnome.
This “bug” label is wrong; the open issue is not about a bug.
It's just about the recent version not being placed in the stable channel.
Just remove these old versions and the problem will be solved.
@Kyuyrii I marked it as "Bug" because of this comment:

I saw a comment left on this issue here: https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/issues/4016
He mentioned this command to make Flameshot Snap work on Gnome:
flatpak permission-set screenshot screenshot snap.flameshot yes
Yes, on Gnome, this Flatpak command is necessary to make the Snap version work.
Now we need to know if this is caused by a problem with Gnome or with the Flameshot code.
