Ok sorry, my bad, we have already a PR doing this: https://github.com/shutterstock/changeDPI/pull/8 that includes types detection and test. Did you try that code? any reason why you feel like this...

The module is meant to run on browser but since the tests run under node, the module should too. I think we can add an official.node method

I have the same whish and i noticed that the controllers seems to be based on an i2c bus at 400khz. Does this help to understand if is doable or...
one controller per arduino would be cool enough. as of today an extension cord to cut to create the female port is more expensive than the arduino 🤷♂️
