Closing this PR since it's horribly out of date. But I find myself needing this again, so will circle back.
If people are calling this sharding, should we also call this `hasshards` and `eachshard`? Otherwise this sounds great!
That would be nice! Would it just take a string argument separated by slashes?

Looks like that's the case, since there is also an issue with TagBot (last tagged version here is from 2022).
How are you saving to disk?
Aha interesting! Yes it probably hits a second expansion somehow. But presumably dims should be treated as strictly normal base arrays. Maybe we need to check if they are dimarrays...
