I would certainly follow an easy-to-find recommendation because it's easier than inventing my own or trying to deduce from the existing ones what might be the best example to follow....
BTW, in ipython you can enter things like `\beta` to get unicode characters.
Seems like a good idea to me. I would look for it under "Users Guide" if I knew it existed.
Many (all?) models were developed with specific values, so it's probably best if they default to those.
It would make a nice student project to research this topic more deeply present a summary report.
I would vote for `effective_irradiance` because that's consistent with the other DC module models/functions.
