Please use drop downs and look for solutions in the docs. If there are none, please open issues or discussions with the developers. Concerning the regex, whichever is precise enough....
Could you please also try to make the relevant people of https://github.com/theislab/single-cell-best-practices/pull/229 co-authors of the commit where you added the regex? This might be lots of ugly git work but...
