This issue has very rarely been reported outside of github by others, so the underlying issue itself hasn't been fixed.
What device are you using? Are you using a custom onscreen keyboard?
If you try downloading again and reinstalling now, this issue should be fixed
Can you please try downloading again and seeing if USB mouse works now? I tried adding support, but I don't have a way of testing it
It would take a lot of work to implement
If you check in Controls, do you have Set spawn bound to left mouse button?
