We support layering additional config via [configfiles](https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/blob/da6db678bb38bebc34094c32fc5f4a98997a82ec/cmd/opampsupervisor/supervisor/config/config.go#L223). Can you remind me if the opamp supervisor will start the collector when it starts up even without connecting to the opamp server?

@brianlangbecker I'm confused. If there are not auto-instrumentation packages for the desired javascript libraries then bumping the node version will not solve the problem
k8sobjects is one of the receivers that needs either a single replica deployment or leader election so it is a good candidate for a opinionated preset. What isn't clear is...
I'm ok with a preset that scopes specifically to events like the kube-stack chart.
