Since there is no context in those PRs, is [email protected] fixing the load time problems completely? Could we maybe just remove the dependency on FilePaths in Makie then?

The benchmarks should actually catch it - which don't run for outside contributors. I can try to make a PR once Electron is tagged.

The problem seems to come when displaying the figure before plotting the rest. If you only display the resulting figure it works. Inserting plots and reloading the same figure is...

We can't merge this, it is breaking... I guess the error doesn't propagate to fail the docs, since it happens in an async task
