What do you mean by clipping? Could you provide a screenshot?

Use Edit->Trim/Fix on the file before saving. This will need to be done every time you reopen the file.

This should be fixed now. It gets converted to a goto command, which works the same.

Are you okay with losing the keyframes?

Is there a use for this other than just viewing a bunch of models at once?

What format did you export? SMD doesn't support scale.
