I can confirm the problem and the work-around above didn't work for me. I tried it both with a Snap package and installing from the AUR.

Would be great to have this. Inoreader for example also allows this and many people use the same sources for many categories, e.g. have one source in "Favourites", "TechNews", "Blogs",...
