I had a resurrection issue myself some minutes ago, using a cleric spell, but not sure if related: portrait didn't work. Location on map does, despite the cursor being gray.
`std::filesystem::path` around VFS, should maybe make us drop a lot of code there.
Also SpellFocus (398) gets attached to NPCs and persists in the save game.
