I believe this is a sodium issue, if this is still occurring please reopen the issue

Sorry the sodium pipeline is very different in older versions and cannot support async bfs easily
with 0.2 you can use bobby pretty efficiently to load the chunks back
Pregenerator is not planned nor is implementing a bobby like cache at the present time

This is due to how ships are rendered, they are as you said, stored in the shipyard then rendered in the correct place, this... is not really supported in nvidium...
Keeping it open as there are still some lingering issues
