I will take a look but it may be a Qt Creator issue. Most of there tools use the build environment. Have you tried look through the settings?

I am still looking into it. All tools should use the environment under the run tab which is usually set to use what is defined for build.

Sorry, I have been side tracked on getting the new installer released. Should be able to test it soon with the new version.

It looks fine. What do you believe is not correct? By default Qt Creator hides empty folders and the FAQ shows how to unhide them if that is the issue.

The debugging feature is supported by the Qt Creator developers, I would recommend proposeing the feature to them. Could you not add a break point at those location an then...
