Mixed gases are also problematic since every border between different gas color/density needs a transparent face, which makes every biome with mixed gases a lag biome.

It's a line graph.  I find it not at all difficult to read at high refresh rates.
No, this is a seperate issue, to make it easier to compare frametime, when there is a lot of jitter in the graph.

I think this is true for some of the other metals as well. The durability ceiling right now is at 1500, which is suboptimal
"Does" is the wrong word. Please use "fixes", "resolves" or "closes" in the future, these words are tracked by github and make it such that the issue gets automatically closed...
