I tested gambatte, and I don't know if it works because under config-cores-gb i have gambatte enabled but when a rom is loaded gbhawk shows up in the status indicator...

Can someone send me a link with this pr implemented? As in, one that's compiled already? I wanted to test ares

Sorry for the late response, but there is a boost in the ares core. On build b8444f8b it has 41fps while dropping down to 38 on transition with buck bumble....

From a tas perspective, speed is of no concern as we tend to slow the game down anyways. If it was like 1 frame every minute then it would be...

I actually discovered that PCEM doesn't support save states yet and that would be the reason :/

Opentk 4.4.0 came out like 5 days ago and mentions joystick fixes. We can't update that on Linux from my understanding of this?
