Did you make custom resolutions with SwitchResX?

Yea that does not cut it.. it is just resolution chooser.. SwitchResX can define custom resolutions and install them into the system. Does 4k@30Hz work?

WhateverGreen runs the same patch, but differently. I think installing it from MultiBeast works. Check various Hackintosh forums for more info on it :)

Try `mount -uw /` before running the patch
